Annealing – heat to 1475 degrees Fahrenheit & furnace cool to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit at a rate not exceeding 50 degrees Fahrenheit per hour. Grinding Or Machining: Hardening – Austenitize heat to 1475 degrees Fahrenheit.
