Neoprene Rubber has a moderate resistance to petroleum based oils and fuels. It may be thought to be as a good general purpose rubber with an excellent balance of physical and chemical properties. This commercial grade material can be utilized for gaskets, seals, weather stripping, ant-vibration isolation and countless other applications where rubber is required. The material is black in color and smooth on both sides. This material is usually not intended for cosmetic purposes as it’s going to have some minor imperfections on the surface finish as with most elastomer products. This material isn’t a cellular material this is a solid rubber.
This Neoprene rubber is rated Shore 65A+/-5 durometer (60-70)
Neoprene rubber weighs 1.96 lbs per square foot 1/4″ thick.
To be had in (1/32, 1/16″, 3/32, 1/8″, 3/16″, 1/4″, 3/8″, 1/2″ and 1″) thickness
Typical Physical Properties: Tensile 500 PSI Min., Elongation 200%, Operating temp range -40 to +200 Deg F.
